I don't know all of Pastor Curtis' internal beliefs, but as he's a friend and mentor, I feel I know him fairly well. I would never speak for PC, but I will say what I think ( largely based upon what PC has taught me )...Dave we love you for where you are right now in The Lord.
May Our Holy God reveal himself to all of us more day by day.

Don't assume (e.g., Dave Coffey) you know what pastor Curtis believes without talking to him directly which he always welcomes. Such topics as mentioned in negative reviews here do not represent RCC nor pastor Curtis, and I should know I work with him.

Redmond community is the first church I have attended here in Central Oregon where I was not not treated with biased due to my tattoos. In fact the first time I attended several years back Pastor Curtis approached me as a man and shook my hand as he welcomed me. At that point in my life I was a very angry young man. He has made a huge impact on me personally and my family through the years. The Holy Spirit runs deep in him. I definitely recommend this church to anyone who has ever been treated as though they weren't welcome as I was by other churches.

@Dave Coffey where did Curtis say that about Jesus? And you must not have listened to the entire lecture he gave about hell; checking the english index in an english translation of a hebrew text for verification is flawed which was kind of his point.
It's probably a good thing your not an elder, your cognitive abilities don't seem very powerful.
Pastors at RCC welcome questions and are always doing their best to cite and explain what they bring up during lectures. It is based off linguistic and theological studies and leaves things open to more study and inquiries. The gospel is always there, the pastoral staff is easy to approach and humble. If you don't understand an issue you're welcome to ask in the middle of a service because knowledge is power etc.Added August 24, 2016 by Shooty McGunnerson - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I was surprised at Dave Coffey's review of Redmond Community Church. We LOVE RCC! When we moved from the Portland area, our biggest concern was to find a church that fit us. After visiting several local churches, we visited RCC and knew immediately it was the right one.We have attended for over five years and have not once found Pastor Curtis to teach contrary to scripture. In fact, if there is scripture he is further explaining based on his research, he makes that clear and challenges the congregation to do their own research. With the addition of Tom Benge as a co-teaching Pastor, RCC has only enhanced its scriptural teachings.
